Function:

When delivered, the clamping lever is engaged (locked) in the inner gear wheel, so that the part to be fastened can be clamped or released by turning the lever to the left or right. When the lever is pulled up, the clamping lever is released from the teeth and can therefore be rotated freely in all directions. If you let go of the lever again, it is locked again.
