The thread plugs for square tubes with brass through-hole from the KINETIK MSystem are used to hold leveling feet / machine feet.

Here the thread plugs are knocked open with a soft face hammer (soft) at the end of the tube.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Threaded plugs are not used for accommodating ring bolts DIN 580 etc.
